WELCOME

Welcome to the TRUMAN Talent Show Blog. Our goal is to provide students an opportunity to perform on stage. So if you and your friends want to get up on stage and show off your talent, the TALENT SHOW is just right for you. Also, if you like to work behind the scenes, we can use your help! It's really easy to get involved:

1) Decide if you want to be a PERFORMER or a CREW member and then go to the appropriate PAGE. There you will find more information about the specific requirements and sign up for a day to audition or to perform your task.

2) Make sure you are available on the PERFORMANCE date. We can sometimes make a change but it is important that you understand that once you are scheduled for a date and time, it is difficult to move things around. In order to allow EVERYONE a chance to shine, some acts will be scheduled for the FIRST performance (TUESDAY at 6pm) and others will be scheduled for the SECOND performance (WEDNESDAY at 6pm) both performances at LHS Auditorium.

PLEASE NOTE: Rehearsals and performances will cover a 4-week period from WEDNESDAY, August 28 through WEDNESDAY, September 26, 2019.  Most rehearsals will be BEFORE SCHOOL at 6:45am but MUST be scheduled and APPROVED by your group and you should plan on staying atleast 1-3 times WITH APPROVAL from MR. TYLER in ADVANCE. An EARLY MORNING REHEARSAL schedule will be posted AFTER auditions. Mr. Tyler will also be available during some LUNCH periods. 

We will be joining forces with Sperreng to be more flexible with performance opportunities...and to make more friends!!

The "Official" TRUMAN performances will be:

TUESDAY September 24^th (3pm & 6pm Sperreng Little Theater) We are casting a large number of performers so flexibility is an important factor when selecting acts for the shows. You can perform on Wednesday if it fits in your schedule better!

The "Official" SPERRENG performances will be:

WEDNESDAY September 25^th (3pm & 6pm Sperreng Little Theater)  

IMPORTANT: Student is responsible for any equipment brought to school. Band equipment and other performance items will NOT be the responsibility of Mr. Tyler, Truman or the Lindbergh School District. BRING THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK! (Set up time begins 1 hour before show time so SIMPLE is best!)
